Just like the saying goes, it is best to strike the iron while the fire is hot. It is one of the most common phrases that we hear, however, do you know of its origin? I am not entirely sure about this, but I believe that this saying has something to do with welding. Blacksmiths always make weaponry and other equipment through metal. Metal can only be malleable when it is hot. They cannot wait for it to cool down, thus, striking the iron while it is hot.
