The International Labour Organisation (ILO) is the UN body that oversees issues pertaining to employment, workers rights, and job security. In this committee delegates will combat issues of workers rights for women, effects of climate change on employment, and labour conditions on post conflict zones. Women's rights in the workplace are often overlooked both in the formal and informal sector, meaning that delegates will have to create dynamic solutions to aid both parties. This committee will also address how climate change has caused many people to lose their employment, and must address the many aspects of this multifaceted issue. Finally, delegates will discuss employment conditions in post conflict zones, and the impacts it has on the economic recovery of the citizens of those nations. As a committee, delegates will develop creative resolutions to ensure that labour conditions are fair and safe for everyone.
