In the wake of tragedy, fair Verona awakens to the news of agony and despair. As news of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet spreads, the city learns of their relationship; One kept secret due to their warring families. As anger arises against both the Capulet and Montague families over who must bear the burden of responsibility, the political elite face criticism for their inability to smoothen relations between the warring families, and by extension preventing this tragedy. Delegates will represent the Montague and Capulet families, as well as various dignitaries across Verona and must address the repercussions that now rock the city in the aftermath of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet.
